WANT TO HELP? www.HappyEndings.us

Are you worn out? Tired of relationships that you give more then get? Do you want someone there just for you? Someone that won't criticize your life? So the dishes aren't done, dust everywhere and your not sure where the vacuum is? Consider a cat! They are low maintenance. Food and a clean litter box (5 minutes work tops) is all they require. A cat returns love! Not unconditional love, but true love all the same! The condition is you must love and treat them with kindness! Treat an animal like crap and they will be crap!

GENERAL

Generally speaking PLEASE consider everything before getting a friend (pet). Ask your self all the questions. Here are just a few. How old are you and will the pet out live you? Who will take your friend if you get sick for a few weeks or longer? What if you have to move, can you take your friend with? Can you afford to medically take care of your friend? Can you feed and care for your friend? Can you commit to the relationship, it takes a lot of time? What if you go on a trip, where will your friend stay? I'm only discouraging getting a friend (pet) because I see so many abandoned animals in my travels. Remember they need you every day! If you like to travel or have a job that keeps you on the move consider what will happen to your friend. Many people want a friend but live in a no pets apartment. If your life style just doesn't have room for a full time friend VOLUNTEER!!! There are plenty of shelters all over this country that need people to care for the friends they've rescued. A friend (pet) is an every day commitment. Volunteering at a shelter is as much or as little of a commitment as you want it to be. If you don't have time to go in and help hands on volunteer to help at a fund raiser or just give cash. Shelters are always in need! That's because people are selfish and stupid! It's all about them not the friend (pet) they are considering getting. To many don't even take the time to consider what the consequence's will be. Throw a human baby in a dumpster or abuse it in any way and people want your blood! There is no one lower than someone that harms a child. Animals, not so much! A animal abuse story may get a "that's sad" response at most. If you compare the numbers far more animals are abused, tor chored, neglected and abandon than children. HELP!! If you can't help, then fine, but DON'T ADD TO THE PROBLEM!
